The January pitch-in dinner was held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28^th. There were 110 in attendance. The February pitch-in dinner will be on Saturday the 25^th at 6:00 p.m. There will be a sign-up sheet in the hallway prior to the dinner.

The Annual Meeting of the Whispering Creek Cooperative will be held on Wednesday, February 1^st, at 10:00 a.m. This meeting is the annual election.

There will be a meeting on Thursday, February 9th at 10:00 a.m. in the Rec Hall for all who would like to participate in this year’s Yard Sale. The cost of one table is $3.00 and two tables is $5.00. Please bring your money for your table(s) to this initial meeting.

The Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, February 18^th from 8 a.m. until Noon in the Rec Hall. This year we are having a Bake Sale. Anyone interested in donating to the Bake Sale, please bring your items to the hall by 8 a.m. If you are participating in the Yard Sale and bring something for the Bake Sale, the cost of your table will be returned to you.

The Activity Committee will meet on Thursday, February 2^nd at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

There is a sign-up sheet in the hallway for the Valentine’s Dance. If no one has signed up by February 4^th, we will not have a dance this year. We will, however, have a dinner that night at 6:00 p.m. in the Rec Hall. Watch for a sign-up sheet in the hallway and notification of what to bring.

The Whispering Creek Men’s Club will meet on Wednesday, February 15^th at 9:00 a.m, in the Rec Hall. All men are invited to attend. Remember they are still looking for someone to step forward and be the President of this important club. The monthly Pitch-in Dinners are sponsored by this club.

Our next Sundae Sunday will be on February 19^th from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Come join your friends and neighbors.

The 3^rdAnnual Whispering Creek Variety Show will be held on Saturday, March 17^th at 7:00 p.m. in the Rec Hall. This year’s show has an interesting theme and is packed with lots of good acts. If you’re interested in being a part of the show, meet us at the Rec Hall on Tuesday’s at 2:00 p.m. It’s lots of fun!! We are especially in need of people who play musical instruments.

There will be a meeting of all people who invested in the homes that were brought into the park by the Investment Club. This important meeting will be on Tuesday, February 14^th at 10:00 a.m. in the Rec Hall.

We will have the 50% Bingo that was cancelled in January on Wednesday, February 22^nd, at 2:00 p.m. in the Rec Hall. This should be a fun time for all who play.

There will be a meeting of the Whispering Creek Board of Directors on Wednesday, February 29^th at 10:00 a.m. in the Rec Hall.
